Hey all you fellow watchers and deviants :wave:


The S.A lycanthrope reporting in... and welcome once again to what seems to be my monthly (or bimonthly) updated journal-type-deal.

It appears that since the beginning of this week I've been gradually losing my mind as the days go by. Not that I'm complaining or anything (I mean, what's new?? come on), but I'm constantly thinking of the randomest, most insane and ridiculous ideas and sometimes I express them verbally in public... which tends to confuse the living hell out of lemmings.. SORRY I mean people.

My guess is Cottonstar is eating at my brain, because the comic itself is begging me to do more. Which I've neglected a bit due to time constraints since I've got a major contract to illustrate 2 books by the end of November.

*hmmm... note to self, start writing them down. Might lead to future comic ideas* :plotting:

Anyway... like I said, things are quite busy these days, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! It's been a long time since I actually had a decent project to work on, that pays! Well drawing is more important to me than the payment of course, but sometimes one has to be more realistic considering that your physiological needs HAS to be fulfilled. Unless you want to die of starvation for your craft, which I'm not really prepared to do at this stage... I happen to like food.

Plus I tend to become a lot more batshit (as in crazy, not the poo.. well, you know what I mean) when I have absolutely nothing to do... and definitely NOT in a good way.

Oh and I'm in the process of making my very own steampunk guitar! Loving the results so far, peek-tures to follow very soon.

I was born on the 4/3/1985 in Umtata, South Africa and I'm currently residing in Midrand, Johannesburg. I've started drawing ever since I can remember but only started pursuing art as a career in high school.

I'm a skilled illustrator, professional colourist, designer and animator. After 4 years of studying at the Tshwane University of Technology, I graduated in 2007 earning my B-Tech degree (Bachelor of Arts) in multimedia.

I've also taken part in a 6 month exchange student course at Saxion International University in the Netherlands working on a 2D animation project named "Define your world" which was showcased on their opening day earlier this year and in the years to come.

I'm part of a multimedia company called Catnip Creations CC which 2 friends and I founded in 2007, specializing in most forms of multimedia.
